Romance in New York City

It's Spring, love is in the air, and what better place to be than NYC. With the fresh cool breeze and warmer weather, it's the perfect time to do something special together.

Even here at the Broadway Hotel and Hostel, we have those moments where our guests find a special someone that they would like to share their New York City experience with.

Here are some top romantic places to visit:

Central Park

From Carriage Rides in Central Park and boat rides below Bow Bridge, to Belevedere Castle and the Conservatory Garden, Central Park may just be New York City's most romantic place.

Top of the Empire State Building

If you're looking for an amazing view that's sure to impress, there's nothing that beats the sights from atop the Empire State Building. On a clear day, you can see as far as 80 miles, but nighttime offers the opportunity to gaze at the glowing city below.

Brooklyn Botanical Gardens

While it may be a bit chilly outside on Valentine's Day, when the cherry blossoms are in bloom in April, there is no where more romantic than the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. Regardless of the weather, BBG's indoor environments offer visitors a pleasant respite from even the coldest of days.

Metropolitan Museum of Art

From artifacts of Ancient Rome to the museum's collection of modern art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art offers you an opportunity to show off your more cultured side. If you need an escape from all the art try the Balcony Bar, overlooking the Great Hall, or from May until late Fall, you can head upstairs to the rooftop bar to enjoy a drink together.

Hudson River Park

Spanning 5 miles from Battery Park to West 59th Street, the Hudson River Park offers an escape from the buzzing metropolis of New York City, as well as fantastic views of the Hudson River and New Jersey.

Lincoln Center

Even if you can't serenade your sweetie from Avery Fisher Hall, you can show off your savvy by taking a stroll by the Lincoln Center Fountain. When it's illuminated at night, it's a sight to behold.
