P.S.1 (MOMA’s eccentric sister museum) displays progressive and cutting edge art. What stands out most are the cozy video art exhibits that are often fashioned to simulate a private viewing. Incredibly cheap admission is also a huge plus. P.S.1, like MOMA, showcases modern art. But, here you are more likely to explore more avant-garde and shocking imagery. In no way could P.S.1 replace the MOMA experience. It will, however, give you a distinctly different experience with merit of its own. Check out their website at www.ps1.org.
